Show-Me Women Paddlers empowers women and builds community through paddlesports. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit paddling club for individuals who identify as women, trans, femme, or non-binary, offering land- and water-based education and social events.
Rooted in inclusivity, we build community through shared paddling experiences and education that foster confidence, curiosity, and connection. By creating welcoming spaces to learn, explore, and grow, we empower individuals to discover the joy of being on the water while strengthening a supportive paddling community in the Ozarks. Above all, we believe paddling should be fun, accessible, and shared.
Our Aims:
Community: We build a welcoming, inclusive paddling community where participants feel connected, supported, and encouraged—on and off the water.
Education: We offer land- and water-based learning opportunities that support skill development, safety, and shared knowledge, helping paddlers grow in confidence and experience.
Empowerment: We create supportive spaces where individuals can try new paddling experiences, challenge themselves, and discover the joy, confidence, and independence that come from being on the water.
